He should have canceled.
We decided to stay the night at a local motel after driving 3 hrs to see Alice's Adventures in Wonderland - Ballet. My best friend drove 5 hrs to join us. We paid for shuttle services from the motel to the venue. The staff and security were friendly and polite, and we were so excited for months waiting for this show! Our first time to see them live! We had a decent view of the stage and found our seats easily at the venue. The cover band, Grace Vanderwaal, was good, but only played for about 45 mins. Imagine Dragons was late coming on stage, and then the lead singer, Dan Reynolds, was sick and couldn't sing!!??!! Instead of doing us the "favor" of coming on stage and half-assed performing, he should have canceled/refunded/rescheduled. We got to the venue, and our sing along karaoke concert ended by 9:45, not worth the effort, thanks but no thanks. Our driver wasn't expected back to begin pick ups till 10:30, but the concert was expected to last till 11pm. We did not get the concert we paid for, took time off for, drove for, booked a room for, and we're hyped for months for. Sorry, I understand that everyone gets sick, and I do feel bad that he was, but it would've been better to face facts and cancel.
